DR. MASARU EMOTO IN SOUTH AFRICA SEPTEMBER 2006 Background & Information
Dr. Masaru Emoto will be visiting South Africa in September 2006. Dr. Emoto’s “Message from Water” books and his recent exposure in the movie, “What the Bleep Do We Know,”
(www.whatthebleep.com) have changed our understanding of consciousness and our connection with water. As a long-time advocate for peace in relation to water, Dr. Emoto acknowledges his role as a “messenger,” teaching and conducting seminars throughout the world. His mission - to raise the level of awareness concerning water, and to heal the earth’s water includes a recognition of the fact that the earth, and ourselves are mostly water.
The groundbreaking work of this pioneer Japanese researcher whose astonishing discovery about water, documented photographically, changed most of what we didn't know about water and has led to a new consciousness of Earth's most precious resource. The implications of his research create a new awareness of how we can positively impact the earth and our personal health. The success of his books outside Japan has been remarkable. Dr. Emoto has been called to lecture around the world as a result and has conducted live experiments both in Japan and Europe as well as in the US to show how indeed our thoughts, attitudes, and emotions as humans deeply impact the environment.
Essentially, Dr. Emoto captured water's 'expressions.' He developed a technique using a very powerful microscope in a very cold room along with high-speed photography, to photograph newly formed crystals of frozen water samples. Not all water samples crystallize however. Water samples from extremely polluted rivers directly seem to express the 'state' the water is in.
Dr. Masaru Emoto discovered that crystals formed in frozen water reveal changes when specific, concentrated thoughts are directed toward them. He found that water from clear springs and water that has been exposed to loving words shows brilliant, complex, and colorful snowflake patterns. In contrast, polluted water, or water exposed to negative thoughts, forms incomplete, asymmetrical patterns with dull colors.
Dr. Emotos newest book, The Hidden Messages in Water, further explores his revolutionary research. Since humans and the earth are composed mostly of water, his message is one of personal health, global environmental renewal, and a practical plan for peace that starts with each one of us.
"The Hidden Messages in Water is magnificent. Through his genius photography and superb scientific skill, Dr. Masaru Emoto has created a book that is truly a mystical treasure. His contribution to research in spiritual consciousness is positively masterful." -
Caroline M. Myss, author of Sacred Contracts and Anatomy of the Spirit
"As with Galileo, Newton, and Einstein, Dr. Emoto’s clear vision helps us see ourselves and our universe differently. Science and spirit unite, resulting in a profound and undeniable quantum leap in how we view our world, and how we can reclaim our health and create peace." - Marcus Laux, ND, Editor, Naturally Well Today
"Half of the earth is water; our body is three-quarters water. Water represents the interface between the 4th dimension in which we live and the 5th dimensional sphere of our soul. Many studies have shown subtle effects of healers upon hydrogen bonding and infrared absorption of water. None of these scientific studies can compare with the beauty and clear messages shown by Dr. Emoto's elegant work. The impact of thought and beauty has never before been demonstrated so well."

PRESS RELEASE FOR SOUTH AFRICA
Dr. Masaru Emoto will be visiting South Africa in September 2006. Dr. Emoto needs no introduction to people who are consciously paying attention to the forces guiding life. But for ordinary people in many parts of the world and in South Africa Dr. Emoto’s work is not very well known.
Through a very highly sophisticated photographic process, Dr. Emoto has been able to capture how water responds to messages, emotions, and feelings. He has discovered that beautiful thoughts projected at a body of water produce exquisite crystalline water patterns, whereas emotions and thoughts of hate and negativity produce misshapen, inharmonious crystals. This applies to the thoughts we have too, because our own bodies consist of a high percentage of water. This method has alerted us to the idea that water is alive. This has also come to challenge the way water is abused globally, stripped of the sacredness that indigenous cultures across the world have always attributed to water.
Dr. Emoto’s work is of particular importance to African healing traditions. In South Africa traditional healing rituals always involve evoking the water spirits through prayer and offering gifts to water spirits. In Africa, and in South Africa in particular, we are still confined by narrow mainstream science, that is rooted in limiting belief systems of poverty consciousness and fear of the unknown. Indigenous people in this country have a reverence of water that sanitation engineers trapping water in the confines of concrete do not understand. Indigenous medicine woman and man work in harmony with water spirits and seek out bodies of water for purification, prayer, and blessing.
The purpose of Dr. Emoto’s visit to South Africa is to highlight the message that water is alive. Water is the essence of life. Water is a common sacred source that unites all people of South Africa. It is through healing the vibrations of their bodies of water that the people of South Africa can connect with the vibration of love and gratitude.
The visit is also intended to relay the message that it is time to explore ways of finding the common language between science and traditional wisdom, which is being eroded in the process of modernization and globalization. Dr. Emoto will be meeting with local scientists to explore options for expanding his science around water in South Africa.
South Africa is blessed with an abundance of choices to lead the continent of Africa into a golden era. The choices are ours. A sacred water ceremony with an aware being like Dr. Emoto will guide us to heal the waters that divide us. To bless the waters that unite us. Dr. Emoto will lead water ceremonies assisted by local healers. Healing water ceremonies held in Johannesburg and in Cape Town are intended to build bridges of reconciliation embracing the waters of life that heal and nurture one and all in this bountiful country.

ZERISA, a voluntary network, is organizing this event in collaboration with many other like minded groups and individuals. ZERISA is committed to making simple sustainable solutions a reality for all. Creating a deep awareness about the sacredness of water is part of our work. We believe that the new awareness about water will come about through synergies created by ancient African wisdom and new water technologies.
